Senior Adults
Senior Adults (ages 65+) is a monthly gathering which instructs, encourages and equips seniors in their walk with Jesus and each other. Meetings usually take place in FRC’s Chapel on the second Thursday of the month (except July) at 2:00 p.m. Email Tom Hydeen for details or to suggest a to class.
September 20 – “Balancing Law and Grace.” Former City Attorney Loren Veldhuizen tells us the challenges and joys of upholding the law and following Jesus.
October 8 – “Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia.” Erica Eikern, Sioux City’s Alzheimer’s Association Representative, helps us understand the implication of this common malady among so many people.
November 12 – “Grocery Supply Challenges: Getting Food to Us.” Orange City’s Fareway Manager Micah Hagen gives us a peek into the complexity of grocery supply and demand.
December 10 – “Christmas Party and Gift Exchange” with Game Hostess Leanne Bonnecroy. Everyone brings a wrapped $5 gift and we will play to give and get a gift. Bring also a plate of goodies to share with the rest of us.
