WHO WE ARE
Get to know more about what makes us different.
First Reformed Church is a community of believers transformed by the magnificent grace of the Resurrected One, Jesus Christ. Rightly oriented through worship, guided by the authority of scripture, and equipped with the gifts of the Spirit, we humbly claim our place within a legacy of His followers. Healed of our own shortcomings and griefs through the power of God’s love, we join an ever-working Savior in His mission of redemption of our time and for all eternity.
First Reformed Church is a member of the Kingdom Network, a community of Reformed Churches. We profess the faith expressed in the Apostle’s Creed and affirm the theology of the Heidelberg Catechism, among other historic statements of belief.

Our Assignment
RISE25: Rethink, involve, serve, Extend
Our church’s vision statement is called RISE25. It is a framework laid across four key ideas (Rethink, Involve, Serve, Extend) that we sense God is drawing our people toward between now and 2025. Our leaders have considered around 20 additional applications for RISE25 over the course of the next 4-5 years and have carefully prioritized among them.
