This I Believe
2026 Lent Series | February 22 – Easter Sunday
What you believe about God shapes everything. It shapes how you face anxiety, how you see yourself, how you interpret suffering, and how you look at the future. This Lent, we are walking through the bedrock truths the Christian church has confessed for thousands of years, using the framework of the Apostles’ Creed. Together, we will focus on who God is and what He has done through the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. In a world full of confusion and shifting opinions, these historic truths anchor us to something solid and unchanging.
Each week, we will explore how core Christian beliefs are not abstract theology but deeply personal realities. The Father’s care speaks to our worry. The Son’s deity and humanity shape our identity. Jesus’ suffering, death, resurrection, ascension, and promised return give meaning to our pain and confidence for our future. From Palm Sunday to Easter morning, we will see that none of this was accidental. It was God’s plan for our redemption and our forever life.
If you are looking for clarity, confidence, and a faith that can withstand real life, this series is for you. Come rediscover what Christians have always believed and why it still matters today.

This I Believe Bible Reading Plan
Alongside the This I Believe sermon series, we invite you to participate in a Monday through Friday Bible reading plan designed to reinforce the foundational truths we explore each Sunday. As we walk through the statements of the Apostles’ Creed, the daily readings focus on who God is and what He has done through the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Each week’s passages include the Sunday sermon text along with supporting Scripture that deepens your understanding and strengthens your faith.
This reading plan is intentionally simple and sustainable. The passages are short but rich, helping you build a stronger theological foundation during Lent and prepare your heart for Easter. Whether you use it for personal reflection, family devotions, or quiet time before your day begins, it is designed to keep your mind anchored in truth and your life oriented around Christ.
You may follow the reading plan on your own, or you can join a Bible reading texting group for added encouragement and accountability. Reading plan bookmarks are available at the Welcome Center and church office, and sign-ups for texting groups are open for anyone who would like to journey through Scripture together as we rediscover what we believe and why it matters.
