A Truffle Activity

In today's KIDS Break, Mrs K has a fun kitchen activity with CHOCOLATE. Here's the recipe...

Ingredients:
1 18 ounce package Oreo cookies
1 8 ounce package Cream Cheese softened and cubed
1 cup melted chocolate
1 cup wafer cookie crumbs

Directions:
Place Oreo cookies in a plastic bag and seal the bag. Roll the bag with a rolling pin until finely crushed.
Place cubes cream cheese in a bowl with the Oreo cookie crumbs and beat with a hand mixer until well combined.
Roll into one inch balls
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in the microwave on high until melted.
Dip truffles in the melted chocolate
Place the wafer in a second bag and seal the bag. Either roll the bag with a rolling pin or smash the cookies with your hands.
Dip the truffles in the cookies and place on a piece of parchment paper. Let the chocolate harden before eating the truffles. You may need to put them in the microwave.
