Pinewood Derby is Back!

Get ready for one of our favorite events of the year! The Pinewood Derby is racing into the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, February 21, with racing starting at 9:00 AM. This is a morning full of creativity, friendly competition, and tons of fun!

WHO CAN RACE?

The main race is for kids Kindergarten–5th Grade
An Open Race is available for anyone of any age who wants to build and race a car

Important Dates to Know

Car Distribution

Great news ... we now have the correct Pinewood Derby cars in hand! The cars will be available in the garage on Saturday, and then in the Kids Ministries area on Sunday.
If you currently have one of the other cars, please reach out directly to Kevin Verschuure. He can help you either obtain a replacement car or talk through options for adapting the one you have.

Cut Days

Saturday, January 17, from 8:00–10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, January 21, from 7:30–8:30 p.m.
These cut days are when help and tools will be available to shape your car. Pick the day that works best for your family.

Registration & Test Day

Friday, February 20 | 6:00–8:00 PM
Bring your finished car to register and test it on the track before race day.

Race Day

Saturday, February 21
Racing begins at 9:00 AM
Fellowship Hall

Whether you’re racing, cheering, or just enjoying the excitement, this is an event you won’t want to miss. We’re looking forward to a great Pinewood Derby and can’t wait to see your cars on the track!
