Blessing of the Backpacks
As a new school year begins, we want to cover our students, teachers, and school staff in prayer. On Sunday, August 24, during both worship services, we will have a special Blessing of the Backpacks.
We invite all students and teachers to bring their backpacks to church for a time of prayer and encouragement. This moment in the service is a reminder that God goes with us into every classroom, hallway, and lesson plan.
Whether you're starting preschool or heading into your final year of college—teaching in a classroom or working behind the scenes—we want to pray over you and the year ahead.
