40 Days of Prayer - Week 4
Mark Bloemendaal, an elder at First Reformed Church, leads us in our prayer time this week.
January 22 - 29: Seeking through Prayer (Colossians 4:2-6)
Monday - We ask the Holy Spirit to open the hears of the leaders pondering the upcoming decisions and may our hearts conform to God's will.
Tuesday - we ask the Holy Spirit to display His fruit as we walk these new paths of congregational life together.
Wednesday - Lord, keep our leaders alert to the mission, vision and values of the Alliance of Reformed Churches (ARC), and help them as they discern and share with the consistory their findings. May we be aware of the callings you have placed before us and we see your peace and direction in our time of discernment.
Thursday - We ask the Holy Spirit to come along side the leaders of our Orange City daughter congregations, American and Trinity, as they too seek God's will.
Friday - We ask the Holy Spirit to display His guidance to other congregations in the East Sioux Classes as well as the East Sioux Classis executive Team.
