Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

We are so excited to be able to offer our Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt boxes this year. As a church, we are committed to letting our community know that we are FOR them in tangible ways. As daunting as reaching out to our neighbors may seem, Easter is one of the times of year when people are open to having fun and connecting with others. Because of this, FRC Kids wants to empower your family (and/or your Small Group) to host a Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt.
To host a party is really easy. Find a date in late March/early April (remember that Easter is early this year), and grab a few friends to help organize your party. Two weeks before your party, hand deliver party invitations (they are in the box), or invite via social media or verbally invite your neighbors. As a planning team, decide who is going to bring drinks, food, do set up/tear down, etc.
The box has a TON of party supplies in it. Along with the candy and Easter Eggs, there are games, coloring sheets, crayons, scavenger hunt ideas, extra bags if kids forgot a bag for the hunt, permanent markers and Resurrection Eggs to help you tell the story of Christs' death and resurrection during the party. We have extra supplies if you find you don't have enough.
As a church, we will reimburse each PARTY (not each person) up to $100.00 for any added expense (extra food, extra games, etc.), but remember:
This isn't about a Pinterest-worthy event; it's about being FOR our community and connecting with others.
You can pick up a box from the Children's Ministries area downstairs, or by the check in area in the fellowship hall. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email Mrs K!
