Sunday Bible Study for Teens

Conflict is the cornerstone our post-Genesis 3 world. Whether it's our relationship with nature, our relationship with others, or our relationship with ourselves, there's a challenge to overcome each day. Even in our fantasy escape worlds we delve into stories of conflict: Batman vs. Joker, Wonder Woman vs. Cheetah, Mario vs. Bowser. A good story can't be told without conflict.

In today's Bible study of Romans 5:1-11,  we'll read Paul sharing his hope in the midst of the greatest real conflict in the world: the conflict between people and God. Our hope is in the key verse, "For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his
Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!"

Consider these two questions as a warm up before reading Romans 5:1-11, then click on the study below to get more in-depth with the text.

1. What do most people your age tend to get into argument or conflicts about?
2. What does the presence of these arguments and conflicts in our lives tell us about ourselves?
